When you look back on a person’s life and consider what they have accomplished, consider what actually matters. Is that life defined by the nice car they drove or the education they received or the job they worked?
What about yourself? When you think about your life, what is the first thing you think of? What defines YOUR life?
You probably think back about where you came from and what you have been through in your life. Some more pondering may bring up various accomplishments that you have achieved or perhaps even some regrets. There are people you once knew and events that may be forever burned into your memory.
Some people believe they are not really that interesting, but actually, if you think about it, you have been alive for 365 days multiplied by your age. So even at 25 years old you lived 9,125 days. It is pretty much impossible to say that nothing interesting happened to you in that period of time. If you are 50, you have been alive for 18,250 days. So what if you are not a rocket scientist working for NASA. You still have accumulated interesting life experiences.
Ultimately, when your journey on this earth is over, all your stuff and everyone you know will be left behind. Your possessions will be distributed in some way that you have no say in. The only thing that remains is your story. It is not too late to record your life experiences for future generations. If you don’t know where to start, we can help.
