The holidays are upon us. As we visit with our families, eat too much and hope that Santa brings us something wonderful, consider that you are adding to your life story.
If you are lucky enough to have your parents or grandparents with you this year, I hope they tell you more of their stories. Many people don’t have the option to hear those tales, life lessons and adventures, and they would give anything to be able to. You are truly blessed if you have them to listen to.
Even better, consider capturing their legacy so those stories can be told for many years to come. Share them with your children, grandchildren and future generations. We can help you with your life story project. Perhaps you might consider giving a Capturing Legacies life story project to someone you love as a very special gift. It wouldn’t just be for them either, it would be a gift for your family and all those future family members that haven’t even arrived yet.
Regardless of what you do, enjoy this special, and magical time of year. From all of us at Capturing Legacies, Happy Holidays! May you have a wonderful end of the year and a happy and prosperous New Year!
One of the best parts of our job is learning about people and hearing their stories. Although some of our clients allow their life story projects to be available to the public, others are kept private for their own personal reasons. That is why we created our podcast that we call “A Story Not Forgotten“. The podcast gives us the opportunity to interview people and ask them to tell us one story from their life that we can share.
