E0003 – Les Wiseman – The Sublime to the Ridiculous

One of the best parts of our job is learning about people and hearing their stories.  Although some of our clients allow their life story projects to be available to the public, others are kept private for their own personal reasons.  That is why we created our podcast that we call “A Story Not Forgotten“.  The podcast gives us the opportunity to interview people and ask them to tell us one story from their life that we can share.

At the time of writing this post, we just released episode three of A Story Not Forgotten and on that episode we interviewed Les Wiseman.   Les teaches communications and all forms of writing at Royal Roads University in Victoria.  On the show, he tells us a story about how he went from being a construction worker to becoming the associate editor of a prestigious magazine while hanging out with legends like Frank Zappa, Iggy Pop, Tom Jones, Bob Hope, Wes Craven, Joey Ramone and Kurt Vonnegut.

Have a listen to the podcast and be sure to subscribe (iTunes & Android) and also check out the previous episodes.  Stay tuned as well for the many new shows we have in the works.

If you have a story to tell, and we know you do, reach out and we will get you on the show.  In the meantime, be sure to capture your full life story for future generations to enjoy.
