Interview With Grant Pollock

Grant Pollock - Retired Sportscaster and co-worker of Ed Whalen

On Friday March 24th, Capturing Legacies Inc. was honored to have the opportunity to interview Grant Pollock, one of Ed Whalen’s co-workers from 2&7, the television station they both worked at for many years.  Grant had some wonderful stories that gave us some more insight into what Ed Whalen was really like.  Thank you Grant, we appreciate your time and your stories.  Watch our YouTube channel for some of the interview clips.

Recorded Interviews for any Occasion

When a client brings us in to capture their life story, or in the case of the video linked above, to capture the life story of someone who is no longer with us, our first step is the interviews.

As part of our Ed Whalen Life Story project, in the video above we visited Ed Whalen’s son, Tony, to hear stories from when he was a child and what it was like having Ed as a father.  Interviews are powerful tools, especially as a way to gather information to write a book.

If you have ever considered writing a book, whether it be your life story, or any other topic that comes from your heart, begin with a recording.  The video is optional, but it does have its value.  If you are able to record video as well, the video has the added advantage of capturing the essence of the person being recorded and is of great value to loved ones down the road.

Take advantage of the professional interviewers at Capturing Legacies Inc. and have us look after the entire interview process.  We know how to ask the right questions and take the pressure off of you.

The interview process can also be used for other opportunities.  A good example is preparing a “well wisher” video for an upcoming wedding.  We can interview the families of the bride & groom and prepare a video that can be played during the wedding reception.

Interviewing can be used as a powerful tool to deliver a message.  Perhaps you have something to say to someone before you leave this earth.  We can record your thoughts and deliver them to that person at any time you wish.  Maybe you would like to pass along some words of wisdom to your not-yet-born grandchild and you may not be around to say those words in person.

Contact Us today and let us help you record your thoughts, memories, stories and words of wisdom.
